Agriculture is a growing industry in the Kenai Peninsula, including a variety of exported cash crops. Since 2007, the number of farms on the Kenai Peninsula has increased by 60% and the sales of flowers, nursery and greenhouse products has risen from $1.052 Million to $1.671 Million.

The number of farms on the Kenai Peninsula Region has increased 22% since 2017 (Census of Agriculture Area Profile, 2022)
