The resources listed below are grouped based on resident, employee, business owner, and Industry-specific needs. The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation and RurAL Cap support residents in their pursuit to secure housing. The Kenai Peninsula Workforce site highlights the top 40 jobs on the Kenai Peninsula, pay rates, license rerequirements and training opportunities. Both AVTEC and the Kenai Peninsula College work to prepare students for these exciting career paths. The Alaska Department of Labor provides a full listing of job openings as well as training and workforce services to help residents secure local jobs. There are numerious resources listed for employers to start and grow their organizations under the “starting and operating a business tab” as well as industry-specific resources under the “industry support” tab.
