Tourism remains a strong industry on the Kenai Peninsula, and attracts visitors annually from around the world. Well known for its fishing, the Kenai Peninsula also offers a variety of recreational activities and natural assets that are increasingly valuable for “experienced” focused generations. Gross sales across visitor-related sectors increased steadily from 2017 to 2018.
